This introductory guitar workshop will provide students with the necessary skills required to begin learning the guitar. Students will be taught how to approach a song, or an exercise so they can get the most out of it. Topics include reading tabs, rhythm, picking, fingerstyle guitar techniques. Instructors will provide attendees with a unique individualized lesson on the guitar during this 1-hour workshop. No prior music experience is required to attend. Open to all students and faculty at the University of Calgary.
